Ivory Needles isn't sufficient.  My 3v group is running needles and we often see them drop one guy while the other two charge up into stratospheric defense/healing/cpb.

Root of Corruption takes 125 melee damage
Root of Corruption is defeated.
229  Gothmogged uses [Nature's Claw]
Thornscourge the Defiled takes 212 melee damage

I've seen Valsu extending WDC for  several turns and that's all.

Just make Ivory Needles target "highest HP" to counter GP?
Errr.. why ? I mean, it already rapes GP as it is. It's just... people should get around to actually playing it.
I just figure that with that targeting it most of the time go to the one playing all the heal. Just a thought...
All auras users are not GP users... I mean, really, I think that'd be more a nerf for a TB/target lowest hps charm than an improvement.

Not necessarily a nerf since you'd be targeting the important guy esp in the lol-kiai setup...buuut targeting highest HP isn't really what TBs are supposed to be doing.

ps. i'm not trying to start a pyramid :V

Summon: For each lowest(greatest magnitude?) negative ongoing damage modifier heal 1 during 4 turns.
Target all opponents:
Reduces the duration of auras by 3.

Infusion of Light, Guidance of Homan, Unicorn, Pegasus, Moonshine, Painsoaker, Circle of Hands, Tears of the Gods, Circle of Life, Sceptre of Gregorius, Lull Slice, Lightflake, Guardian Angel, Enhancing Light, Soul Healing, Restore Faith, FERVOR'S FUCKING FLAMES (which could also probably use a nerf...).

Yep, only 1 good charm in the holy set... and we're totally suggesting that it be completely reduced to a worthless charm, not that say, it should have a pretty damn high healing cap or something.

Change it to a curse.... no more extended abuse, could even up the healing a bit as well if you did that

I don't think that auras should be changed to a curse to rule out extension - in any situation.  I'm still not sure why people refuse to play the counters that are already in-place because it doesn't suit their coli strat, and then complain when they get beaten.

On another note - why not just remove aura extension as a mechanic altogether?  Then, these arguments would become moot. </s>

Normally I'd agree with you, but in this case, the counters are either Normalize or Purge, both of which are horrifically restricted (and for good reason).  That or just such insane amounts of burst that you can be sure to 1-hit them through their ungodly amounts of accumulated defenses and max hp.

I like how you instigated this abortion of a thread predicated upon a replay showing a large amount of healing despite the fact that the healing was completely irrelevant and that you would have still gotten beat like a government mule if they had been running Wooden Swords instead of The God's Promise.

Here's a handy bit of advice for you:
Step 1: Stop being so terrible that someone could beat you with 5 Wooden Swords in their deck.
