ARMOR CHARM
« on: 15:57:50 - 05/13/09 »
How does it work?
Example: When a charm for leather pants activates, you get 9 armor right?
However, when another leather pants charm activates, the log tells me that your armor
remains at 9
Is there a limit for its number when activated in battle

There's a mechanic called "cumulative armor".  If you draw a charm with 9 cumulative armor, it would've added 9 on top of your current 9 to make it 18.  But since that charm isn't cumulative, the game takes the highest of both charms' value.  Since they're both 9 armor, it stays at 9.  If you had drawn a 4 armor charm, it would've done nothing.  If you drew a 20 armor charm, it would've increased to 20.  If you drew a 20 cumulative armor charm, it would've gone up to 29.  Makes sense?

ah i get it, thanks
lastly, tell me if i'm right
if a 9 armor charm activates then a 20 armor charm
my final armor would be 20, right? unless 20 is a cumulative armor, right?
what if the 9 armor is cumulative and the 20 armor is not?
would it have the same effect?

Good question.  Even if the original armor was from a cumulative charm, that doesn't matter.  If you draw a 20 non-cum armor charm, it goes up to only 20.
