Player charm combos... and fusion?
« on: 10:31:44 - 04/05/14 »
The Game boss fight introduces both combos and and fusions.  Then we never see either again.

Are there going to be player charm combos?  Will they require two players or will there be solo combos?  Will they be mechanically similar to E1 combos (play two runes within X ticks) or will you need to have both (or all three/four/etc) charms in your hand to combo and the additional charms will auto-consume when you play one?

Player fusions are probably not going to happen, but why have we not seen any other mob fusions?

hmm? the dungeon drops cards that can combo (easy to guess according to their names actually). if it's
not working, it's bugged then :)

There are actually 2 usable (solo) combos in the game at the moment. Combos are like E1: play 2 charms at a limited time interval and a new effect is cast. You will have solo combos and multi-player combos as well.

We'll probably add some more fusion monsters at some point!

Ah! Yes, missed that.  It doesn't show in the log (well, extra effects after the second charm, no marker that a combo happened) but you do get the big COMBO banner during combat.

Hm, I'll have to look for the second one...
