Frustrating Gathering Issue

Im not complaining, im just wondering, why am i lonely in gathering fights? One example is that im gathering herbs in Aleas, and all of a sudden, FOUR people of lvs. higher than me! Heh, that's just one of the risks of gathering - though it's pretty rare in my experience to have a 1v4 fight!  You will fairly often find yourself outnumbered in gathering fights, though sometimes you will get allies and outnumber your opponents - it's all a bit random.
