The stat requirements of Flame/Ice Scabbard and Strike are not so high. You can wait for some higher levels and farm it in Village of Cyneth or Shudder.

Or, for that matter, Trial of Unity.
not so many ppl run Unity with Strike Combos.

Private parties instead of public.

I did, basically ran a 50 charm gear on that molten thing. With a 12/13/26 split on Melee/Magic/Defense respectively. I made sure that i don't have any Dual Runes for the offensive charms as well.
Astroblade takes 899 magic damage(181 warded, 1 pierced)

Should be possible with like, 5 Crystal of the Dawn, 5 Pyric Charge, any 10 charms sharing both a melee and magic rune (most shifting charms, frigid hammer, ice caller, ice cleaver, heavy crucifix, shining club, etc...), you can of course add more on each side.

I'm somewhat new(lvl.21) and I've been looking around at skill stuff, and read that it's lvl.20 for starting on mastering Rank 3 of skills(or some skills, not sure if that applies to all) and was wondering why my shadow/spear etc. skills are still 'mastered' at rank 2, I've been to the arena a few times to see if it'd start increasing them, but it doesn't...help/advice would be appreciated, such as, does the charm you use effect the rank increases? or does it matter what you use to try and rank a skill, etc.

Thanks.

if you are using Firefox, install this.
Available skills:
http://forum.estiah.com/index.php?topic=3402.0

If not, then switch to Firefox nao!

Some skills have 2 ranks, rank 2 is unlocked at lvl 40 (i.e. Heroism, Cheat Death)
Some have 3 ranks: lvl 1, lvl 20, lvl 40 (Survival, Outlaw)
Battle skills are unlocked every 10 levels and have 5 ranks.

Battle skills are just requirements to use better charms. They don't increase the damage or something like this.

HP skills (Surival, Armor, Ward, Outlaw, Self-Defence, etc) are a must, because they have a big impact in every fight (doesn't matter PvE or PvP).
Train +HP and +Spirit skills first.

Also be sure that your opponent is no more than 3 levels below you, if you want to gain battle skills.

ok, thanks, I'll do that, I am not switching to firefox...simply 'cause I don't feel like it, and I think I figured out the problem...wasn't really paying attention to enemy lvl. in the arena, so that could have been it...anyway, thanks again.
