You're doin' it wrong!

I wanna see fights (especially trials) done in abnormal ways - like defeating Karya by spirit attacks instead of projection or beating the Trial of Insight with ward destruction and poisons instead of piercing (2 of the ones I've managed).

Anyone got any others? Proof preferred but feel free to just tell us about it :)

I did Insight with Poison + Igniter  :P This strategy is so goooood  :laugh:

Igniters were just added for fun. Actually, my poison charms are so strong that Igniter don't do that much damages in comparison :)

Most DKs that I know of beat Karya with spirit.  They have all the charms to do it at 40.

I struggled like hell to beat the chest mimic with penetration (which I'm weak at with Dex as my dump stat) and just realized yesterday (at level 35) that it can easily be made to destroy itself with DOT debuffs. Silly me.

Wow... nice one Larcent. When I did it with my summoner, he didn't have any decent DoTs at that point, so I used defense with a little spirit and let him exhaust on me.

Several times tanked Homunculus trio in harvest, was hell of hard with no debuffs (pala)

It's funny because the fight prior to the mimic is essentially a big hint. So yesterday I was just taking him down for kicks to get alternate sylan weapons and went, "Oh! The dynamite!"

It's even funnier because I'm an EA player myself and have lost bouts from killing myself with chains of EA charms when I'm heavily debuffed, but I never made the connection.

I do that all the time with several characters.  Most reliable method IMO.
