so every class, you can use two runes, one magic and one melee? so if your a hierarch, you can use holy runes and mace runes, is that correct?

But can you also try to use other runes connected to con and int?

Of course!

This just gives an idea of which are the easiest to use.

You should be able to use to full effect, all the runes that are Primary->Secondary or Primary->Primary. These are not restrictions, but generalisations.

It should also be noted that once you get high enough, you can start using endgame charms of other types.  I include Blade of Betrayal, one of the highest level sword charms in the game, in my deck and I'm a con/dex character.

[16:39] <Anderhammer> berb

Level 42+ charms... They tend to be rather powerful :P

this guide is great, no doubt! And i loved the "philosophical discussion" about good and bad in game :D (imo both parts have part of reason)

but i think there is something that could be added: the path (and class) you are gonna follow is (or should be related) to the way you are gonna play: if you are playing this game mostly alone, with pve or individual pvp, well, then i don't think that protection and solidarity will be useful for you.. but if you are going to play in a guild, well, there MUST be someone protectiong the attackers over there! :D

Awesome guide, I had some time to read around and i thought it would serve be better to read some rather than wait until level 20. Needless to say this guide has made my job easier, i now know my end class on both my characters and i can specialize earlier on to save some points :P. Thank you very much.

Currently have these:
Dread (dex main):
Scout - Dex
Rogue - Dex/weap
Assassin   - Dex/Int--twinblade/lightning spell

Levi (con main):
Novice - Int
Monk   - Int/weapon
Paladin- Cons/Int--Mace/holy spell

Note that you'll be focusing mainly melee or mainly magic; so for Dread, you'll be using twinblades, then probably swords and fists (with power as your third stat). Levi will be primarily using his mace with spears (dex tertiary) or axes (power tertiary). It'll be easier to get the dex up enough for the spears than to get the power up for the best axes, but either option is viable.

Most awesome and helpful work I've even seen. Especially the pic and the analysis of the tier classes are very profound!  8)

If someone asks that nicely, I just have to answer. The image was hosted on the old wiki, which is now down. The new link to the image is:
