Title: Earning Skill Points

Do you earn skill points when fighting while gathering?  Also do you earn skill points when a battle is lost?  Out of AP and am curious about this.

To answer your question., no you don't earn anything for a loss to an NPC as far as I can tell. Always study your fights to see what works for you, when setting up your gear thats my best advice.

Hello,

As Bojakem said, always study your combat logs, if nothing appears, then you got nothing, it's as simple as that.

And to answer your question gathering only give gathering skills and when you loose you get nothing.
